Component 5 aims at developing common tools for the sustainable management of tourism in Mediterranean MPAs:
Monitoring visitor activities
- Providing MPA managers with a methodological tool to monitor visitor activities in the MPAs
- Supporting the implementation of tourism observatories in the MPAs of 3 partners
Underwater trails
- Providing MPA managers with guidelines for the creation of underwater trails
- Supporting the implementation of underwater trails in the MPAs of 3 partners
Eco-friendly mooring systems
- Disseminating recommendations on eco- friendly mooring systems
- Supporting the implementation of eco-friendly mooring systems in the MPAs of 3 partners
Creation of a kayak trail
- Providing MPA managers with guidelines to manage Kayaking in MPAs (Cinque Terre National Park)
