How to join the MedPAN network

Participation in the activities of the network is restricted to legal entities. Two forms of membership are provided for that could apply to your organization:

Members 

If your organization is in charge of managing a marine protected area, you may join as a member. As such, you will be given the right to vote in all of MedPAN's official proceedings. 

You would have to look at the MedPAN Internal Rules to check if your organization is eligible as a member and to receive more information on the related involvement. 

The membership fee has deliberately been fixed at the low level of 50 euros so that it does not constitute an obstacle for organizations to join. Organization can also make a provision of resources with MedPAN, thereby waiving the membership fee.

Partners 

If your organization is not in charge of managing an MPA, you can join as a partner. The partner status enables you to participate in the MedPAN's General Assembly and possibly in its Board of Directors as well as in the Advisory Committee but without voting rights.
